The People’s Favourite Semusa Cocktail

Semusa is always a hit! A pleasantly cooling cocktail that can be made with either sparkling wine or lemonade. Make a small batch straight in the glass, a medium one in a jug, or a big party version in a punch bowl / vase / large bowl. Be creative with the fruits and berries you add. Using frozen berries helps keep the drink cold longer without watering it down.

Ingredients

  • 1 part Semu sea buckthorn nectar
  • 1 part sparkling wine or Kelluke lemonade
  • Fresh and frozen berries
  • Ice

Preparation

First put the berries and ice into your chosen vessel – if you add them later they tend to splash.
Add equal amounts of Semu sea buckthorn nectar and sparkling wine or lemonade, then stir.
Ladle into glasses and enjoy!
